Is hypnosis safe?

Yes, hypnosis is a natural state of mind.  We all experience hypnosis in our daily lives. When you tune-out anything you are not consciously focused on (aka, daydreaming), you are in a hypnotic trance. A big misconception about the safety of hypnosis, is that you are not in control of your mind.  Not true! Just like, when you drive while absorbed in thoughts, it feels like you have “shut out” the world.  However, the moment someone cuts you off, you quickly snap back to complete consciousness - and slam on your brakes!  This "snapping back" is always your "control button" whether it's while you are driving or in a hypnotic state guided by a hypnotherapist.  


What is the difference between hypnotherapy and stage hypnosis?

Hypnosis should always be conducted by a certified professional, like myself, with accreditation from a hypnosis institution.  (For example: the National Guild of Hypnotists) ) Stage hypnotists may also be certified but they use their skills for entertainment purposes,  not for personalized empowerment.

Hypnosis works to reprogram the subconscious mind which controls 98% of our thoughts and actions.  Like the iCloud that stores information indiscriminately, your subconscious mind
holds onto thought patterns whether they are helpful or not. Hypnosis awakens your inner strengths and positive thoughts and deactivates negative, self-sabotaging behavior.  Your subconscious mind is heightened to self-affirming beliefs that can be utilized in your daily life.
